Week 1 of the 2023-24 NBA season has passed and there are already some potential waiver wire players to add to your fantasy roster.

Here are five players to consider:

Derek Lively II, Dallas Mavericks
Lively has been a bright spot for the Mavericks thus far, contributing 9.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 caps per game. He has also started the past two games and his role could increase in the coming weeks.

Dennis Schroder, Toronto Raptors.
Schroder has been a solid contributor for the Raptors, averaging 14.3 points and 8.8 assists per game. He averaged over 30 minutes of playing time per game and was a great source of steals and caps.

Max Struthers, Cleveland Cavaliers
Strus has been an amazing contributor for the Cavaliers, averaging 18.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. He shot 44.4 percent from three-point range. It's worth noting, though, that his numbers could drop as the season progresses.

Otar Thompson, Detroit Pistons
Thompson has been a consistent contributor for the Pistons, averaging 8.5 points, 4.3 assists, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 caps per game. He's a versatile player who can do a little bit of everything and is a great fit for any fantasy lineup.

Mitchell Robinson, New York Knicks.
Robinson has been a solid contributor for the Knicks, averaging 5.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game. He averaged over 30 minutes of playing time per game and was a good source of caps.
